Erin Miller Williams + Lauren Frost
Funny Women Fest was created in 2014 by Lauren Frost and Erin Miller Williams - together the comedy production duo Cake Batter - in an effort to create a space to celebrate creatives and spark collaboration and community among females in entertainment.
Lauren (pictured right) grew up in the entertainment business, as a professional theater nerd in her hometown of Chicago turned mini Streisand and then Disney kid. (If you'd like to see her awkward phase, google Barbra Streisand "Timeless" tour or episodes of Disney's "Even Stevens"). These days she's an industry jill-of-all-trades: writer, producer, actor, songwriter, and stylist…I know, she's tired. A graduate of Second City Hollywood and Upright Citizens Brigade, she's represented by Infinity Management (Literary). As a songwriter and vocalist, Lauren has been featured at the Hollywood Bowl, Kennedy Center, Heinz Hall, Double Door, Hotel Cafe and more. Erin Miller Williams (left) was born and bred in Memphis, TN and is an advocate for cold koozied beers. A graduate of Second City Hollywood and Upright Citizens Brigade, she's proud to have had written and performed in sketches featured on Funny or Die, Buzzfeed, and DailyMotion, as well as the stages of Second City, iO West, Stage 773 Chicago, UCB, and Comedy Central. Erin is a designer, lettering artist, and creative director with some of her creations recently seen on Cracked.com and Jane the Virgin. If you've ever played on the UCB Sunset stage, she built that with her own sweat and tears... so please be more gentle closing the stage doors.
